We are proud to announce that we are setting a new standard for luxury and elegance by partnering with Boca do Lobo. We are intensely passionate about creating the most elegant and sumptuous designs possible, and Boca do Lobo’s creations have adorned our sets in the past, to great success.
Boca do Lobo’s striking creations are the perfect partner to the Luís Onofre visual sensibility in more ways than one. Inspiration can come from anywhere, and a part of being creative is taking everything beautiful and appealing and integrating it into what you make. Boca do Lobo’s acute sense of style and design has not only accompanied us on set, it has also inspired several of our creations.
Luís Onofre has been friends with Amândio Pereira and Ricardo Magalhães, the two founders of the Covet Group and owners of the Boca do Lobo brand, for many years, and our visions have always influenced each other’s aesthetics.
We’ve always provided material for each other’s work, and in the same way Luís Onofre footwear has been worn a number of times by Boca do Lobo’s representatives at international fairs, our friends’ exquisite furniture has also featured in several of our own photoshoots. We are proud to say that this very November we shot some promotional photography in Covet Valley, the group’s exclusive new showroom. This partnership, however, is more profound still. It intermeshes with our creative process, and is reflected in the products we make. Luís Onofre himself has created two stunning heels that were inspired by the MANDY stool, one of Boca do Lobo’s wonderful designs, for our Spring/Summer 2017 collection. This would prove to be only the beginning, since our Fall/Winter 2019 line saw the creation of yet another Boca do Lobo inspired heel, this time using the LAPIZ sideboard as reference.
So it should come as no surprise at all, taking into consideration how fruitful and rich this collaboration has proven to be, that when Luís Onofre took the step of opening a store in Porto, we would straighten our ties, and bring this partnership to the fore of what we do. The store, in Avenida da Boavista, is furnished with Boca do Lobo signature pieces.
